Logotherapy & thanatology
What is logotherapy?
It is an active analytical support in which activities and tasks are carried out based on small challenges so that the patient can develop their interests for their personal and physical well-being. Through understanding their emotions and naming them, they identify their feelings and their actions will lead them to rediscover their purpose on this earth. A very special way to know that life has different nuances and different ways of showing us our greatness.
Applications:
Logotherapy has been applied to a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, and existential crises.
It is particularly beneficial for individuals who are seeking deeper fulfillment, meaning, and direction in their lives.
What is Thanatology?
Thanatology is a very gentle therapy, without a time limit or any constraint, where the grieving person is allowed to create a space to express their emotions safely. The person in grief has the opportunity to be actively listened to. My role as a therapist is to listen and accompany. Sometimes, certain keywords uttered by the person seeking consultation might indicate potential paths, not to initiate a process but to help them see the possibility of choosing to experience grief in a less solitary way and to choose to remain in life.
